Marie-Christine de Laubarède has been creating gardens in England and France for 20 years.
She studied at Waterperry Gardens and the English Gardening School and founded MCL GARDEN DESIGN in 1996. Since then she has created gardens in London and the country as well as in France, and worked for hotels such as The Sanderson and St Martin’s Lane, and clubs such as the St James’s Club and Christian Dior in Paris, as well as undertaking work for many private clients.
Her gardens have been featured in many magazines : Vogue UK, Vogue Italia, Harpers & Queen, Elle Decor, Wedding Magazine, The Daily Mail and others.
Marie-Christine works in many different styles, whether classical English or French, contemporary designs, cottage gardens and even Moroccan, according to the tastes of her clients.
